Light & Salt Family Day Home provides high-quality care for children in a comfortable and familiar environment, attending to each child's unique need to make the learning happen in a natural and fun way while the children’s parents are working.

As a level 3 Early Childhood Educator I have the advantage of knowing child development, behaviour management and play-based curriculum with knowledge both from Ontario and Alberta Early Years Curriculum Framework (How Does the Learning Happens and Flight, respectively). I understand the importance of Play-based learning and the Emergent Curriculum to adapt the learning process according to the children’s interests and needs. Light & Salt brings the importance of the child's well-being and learning together to make out-of-school education thoughtful in the most important years of the child’s development. The familiar environment also attends to the specific needs of each family, being in their neighbourhood with the flexibility of hours in an emergency.
